Davy Fitzgerald

All Ireland winner as both a player and manager we are delighted Davy is with us Friday night. Davy is acknowledged as one of Ireland’s  most renowned hurling managers having brought success to every team he has ever managed. Davy gives 110% to everything he does from hurling player and manager to coach on Ireland’s Fittest Family. Fitzy is well experienced regarding strictly events having judged a number around the country.

Valerie Wheeler

Valerie Wheeler is a Radio Presenter in SPIN South West. She is one half of the Zoo Crew, which broadcasts weeknights from 6.45pm-9.45pm. – a lively music  programme which showcases Valerie’s quirky sense of humour. She is also the Sports Broadcaster for SPIN South West & Presenter of the 16th Man with Pundit Arena. Her love for radio and sport started young as she would listen to Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh, the voice of GAA would be commentating, and of course to this day she loves to take him off and do a bit of match commentary in his voice, it’s her party trick.

Nigel Bridge

Nigel hails from Clarecastle and we are thrilled to welcome him to Sixmilebridge  tonight to join our judging panel. Nigel’s name is synonymous around the county when it comes to Strictly Come Dancing events. He has won many dancing championships himself and he is no stranger to the stage. We are looking forward to his critique of our dancers this evening and we know he will be impressed!

Orlaith’s Duggan

Orlaith from Clooney/Quin is 24 and works as a speech and language therapist with the HSE. She has captained the Clare senior camogie team for the last two years and has been been nominated for all stars twice. She has won munster medals with Clare at u16, minor and senior.

Niall Gilligan

Another Sixmilebridge legend and All Star hurler Niall is delighted to be joining the judging panel behind the desk tonight. We hope that his own experience as a dancer last year will help inform his critique of the contestants tonight. Niall scored some great points in the county final this year so we are sure he will  give top points to our dancers friday night also. Gilly has plenty of medals at County, Munster and All Ireland level for set dancing and was a dancer in Strictly in Tulla a couple of years ago.
