Our U8s took part in the final Clare GAA blitz of 2018 hosted by Killaloe based club Smith O'Briens on Saturday. Competing teams were the home side (2 teams), Wolfe Tones (2 teams), Meelick (1 team), Corofin (1 team) and the Bridge were well represented with 4 teams made up of 45 players.

The boys ran themselves into the ground as always and showed great determination and skill in all 3 games and represented the Bridge Bucks academy and club jersey with great pride.

A big thanks to all the parents who transported the boys and provided encouragement and support on the sidelines as well as the coaches who ensured all the boys got plenty of game time with regular rotations in every position.

Finally a big Thank you to host club Smith O'Briens for organising a great morning of hurling and also for the hospitality after the blitz.

So thats a wrap for the Clare U8 blitz scene for almost 25 of our players who will move on to the U10s next year but before that we have a few more weeks of fun and surprises lined up to give them a good send off including a few tournaments and a rumored return of the famous boot camp from last year ... Watch this space :-)

We will take a break from training tonight following the weekend exploits and return Wednesday night at 6PM at the Cappa Lodge training campus.
