Bridge Bucks Academy

Our U6 hurlers had a night of fun last Friday when they had their Fittest Superstars event in the main hurling field highlights of which included the giant tyre roll, high wall, slippery surface and ending in the now famous ramp. Head coach Ian Chaplin used all his experience in architecting the course and along with the help of chief carpenter Peter Kearney they ensured all had a memorable night. To top if off all parents and players were treated to a BBQ and we thank Brigid in Cozy Cottage for here kind contribution towards this.

Our U10 hurlers hosted Clooney Quin, Doora Barefield and Newmarket in their latest round of Go Games on Saturday - Being Munster final weekend it didn't disappoint with Munster final conditions and Munster final skill and flair on view. We had 2 teams at U9 and 2 at U10. One of the highlights was the U8 hurlers who were called up to fill the numbers filled but instead fitted in naturally and hurled their hearts out.

U11s & U12s

Our U11s had a great workout on Saturday evening against Newport while our U12s were in action on Sunday evening.

Seniors & Intermediates

Our Seniors finished 3rd in the league putting them through to the knockout stages of rht Clare cup while the Intermediates topped their group to ensure a league semi final spot.

Junior Bs

Hard luck to our Juniors who were defeated in round 1 of the championship on Saturday losing out to Cratloe in Clonlara. The boys have a chance to redeem themselves with 2 games remaining in the group.

Grounds Tidy Up

John Corbett and his team are flat out this weather tidying up the club grounds with the main hall powerhosed and ready for painting while all the trees around the club grounds have been trimmed and cut back providing more light into the main grounds at O'Garney Park.

Football Success

Congrats to our U16 players who powered Cratloe to the U16B Championship Shield last night in Lissycasey versus Miltown Malbay. The team was captained by James Egan and also included Cian Fawl, Colin Kelly, Cian Gleeson, Evan Murphy and

Scott Kirkland. On Holidays or injured for last night's match were: Conor Murphy, Morgan O'Connell, Adam Murray, Evan O'Callaghan

Clare Minors

Hard luck to Storm, Dylan and Seán who were part of the Clare Minors who lost out to Limerick on Sunday. They now face Kilkenny next weekend for a chance to get back into the All Ireland series.

Wexford Abú

Congrats to Davy Fitzgerald in guiding Wexford to the Leinster title on Sunday. A fantastic achievement for his managerial cv with Munster, Leinster, All Ireland, Fitzgibbon and National League titles. LEts hope he can add a Clare Senior Championship later this year!
