An Post has announced the launch of two new services to support communities during the coronavirus crisis.
Newspaper deliveries
An Post has developed a new service to deliver newspapers each day in urban and rural areas during the COVID-19 crisis. You will be able to subscribe to your newspaper of choice and An Post will deliver the newspaper. For elderly and vulnerable customers the delivery of the newspaper will be free.
How the service works
You can now buy a subscription to a daily newspaper of choice.
We will deliver the paper the daily – except for weekend papers which will be delivered on Monday.

Request a Check-In
service is “a facility for family members to request a specific ‘An Post Check-In’ by the local postman or postwoman for an older or vulnerable person during the current ‘cocooning’ period.”
A statement said that family members can register for the service for free by completing the postal address and Eircode of the customer on their website.
