This year will see the Bridge enter 2 Minor teams in the Clare Minor hurling championship. We will be represented in the Minor A and Minor B hurling championship which gets underway on Wednesday 29th July.

This is a testament to all coaches and players as well as the Minor club where a big emphasis has been put on player development and keeping our youth active in sport and while it may be a logistic headache for John O'Meara and his management team it will mean we will have 40+ boys aged 16 to 18 playing Minor hurling in 2020.

The Minor A team open their campaign with a trip to play defending champions Corofin/Ruan in a repeat of the 2018 & 2019 U16 hurling finals which were shared 1 a piece with the Bridge winning in 2019. The other team in the group is Clarecastle who contested the 2019 Minor final so some cracking games are in store in this group.

The Minor B team will play Crusheen/Tubber at home in the opening round followed by games against Parteen and Broadford.
