U6 Bridge Bucks Hurling – New Recruits Needed !!

U6 Bridge Bucks Hurling (boys aged 4-6) returns this Friday night 24th of July at Cappa Lodge training complex from 4:45 to 5:45. Times will vary week to week depending on matches and venue will vary also between the main pitch and Cappa Lodge so be sure to download our ClubZap app and join the 2020 U6 Bucks Hurling Messaging Group for communications.em off..)

We would love to see new young lads commence their hurling career over the coming weeks and get some much needed outdoor activity after a long few months of hibernation and muscle growth!!!

It is a prerequisite that all players are registered with Sixmilebridge GAA club before training commences and this can be done in a few minutes via our website here:

https://sixmilebridgegaa.com/membership_products

We can then easily identify new members and add them to the Clubzap messenger system for the ‘2020 U6 Bucks Hurling’

Only members for U6 Hurling that are on the ‘2020 U6 Bucks Hurling’ group will be allowed access to training due to Covid restrictions.

U6 Management 2020

Alot of U6 squads around the county are going for an outside manager for the 2020 campaign but the Bridge have installed John Reddin as the man in the hotseat ... While John might be seen as an outside man (of Shanagolden fame) he has inside knowledge of how the Bridge Bucks operate having started with U6s back in 2014 and is considered a local now given his association with the Bridge. Speaking this week to SixmilebridgeGAA.com TV Reddin menioned how he served his apprenticeship with Martin Conlon in 2014 and is keen to continue the tradition of providing a good hurling and sporting education to all players and continue the great work of other U6 Bucks managers including Ian Chaplin and Jimmy Corbett in recent years. Reddin has brought in the services of an All Star hurler as his forwards coach and has bolstered his team with the addition of coaches from Galway, Limerick and the Mountains Strength and Conditioning coach from the parish league a number of years back.
