The minor league campaign continued on Monday as the bridge boys met Eire Og.

A strong start from the bridge set them apart from the competition with Eamon Breen, Fionn Hayes and Calum Phelan putting early scores on the board. Two goals from a fully recovered Niall Liddane keeping them ahead. By half time the score was 2-12 to 0-04

The pressure from Paddy O’Reilly, Dara Fitz and Callum Toomey on Eire Og persisted into the second half with the Bridge defence never giving the Ennis team’s forwards space to breathe.v
Bridge forwards kept taking every scoring opportunity that presented itself including two more impressive goals from Finn Murphy and Don whitty. The Sean Lynch led troops kept fighting until the final whistle where the match finished 4-19to 0-08.

The next outing is set for Sunday the 20th of March in Sixmilebridge against Kilmaley.
