The U13s enjoyed a well earned week off from training this week after a solid block of pre-season training.

There are 40 players in this years squad and they have trained over 20 times since their return in late January. Most sessions have taken place in the Astro with a few internal games taking place on the Wolfe Tones astro in Shannon. The focus on these sessions have been skills based - striking, first touch, hooking and blocks. This has been a great foundation for the lads with all skills on display in our first internal game on grass in O'Garney Park last Monday evening.

The U13 Championship will be run off during June and July with games taking place on Sundays and Wednesdays. In the meantime, the U13 management will be organizing plenty of challenge games for the squad in the coming weeks.
