SMB National School girls played their first round of Cumann na mBunscol on the 6th of May.

The first round was against Knockanean with a scoreline of SMB 7-6 to 2-1. The second game was against our neighbours Cratloe, this was a tougher and more competitive game with a scoreline of 5-1 to 1-3 . The girls were so committed and played to such a high standard.

Their two wins allowed them to qualify for the semi-final on Wednesday the 1st of June in Kilkishen at 13:00 against Tulla.

Kilmurry National School

Kilmurry girls played against Ballyea, Kilnamona and Kilmaley.

Even though they were defeated in all three games they played brilliantly and loads of game time for all the girls. The girls were playing at a higher division against larger schools. They all enjoyed their experience .
