3rd Round, Jun C Premier, Group 1
Sixmilebridge 1-14
Scariff 1-8

The 'Bridge had overcome Scarriff in a must win final group game in Broadford 2 weeks ago on a score line of 1-14 to 1-8, and having finished level on points with Cratloe and Scarriff, the 'Bridge progressed to the semi final stage based on score difference. In the Scariff game, good performances from Mark O' Donovan at full back, Jamie Lyons at corner forward and Stiofan Fitzpatrick at centre forward ensured the game went in favour of the 'Bridge.

Semi Final, Junior C Premier Championship
Sixmilebridge 3-19
Tulla 1-07

Kilkishen was the venue for the early morning fixture against Tulla, a county semi final with a place in the final at stake. The Bridge's 4th team taking on Tulla's 3rd team. Conditions were good and dry with little wind, as Referee Flann Reilly took charge with his team of umpires.

The 'Bridge were in command of the game from the outset and started well with a goal from Conor Murphy and added a second goal later on in the half from Danny Dunne. The 'Bridge ended the half leading by 9 points on a scoreline of 2-10 to 0-07. Kieran Liddane, Johnny Hayes and Conor Murphy from frees and play adding the points.

The second half saw the 'Bridge see out the win on a scoring 1-9 to Tulla's single score a goal. Stiofan Fitzpatrick, Conor Murphy and Robbie Corry all scoring points and Kieran Liddane with the goal from distance. The final scoreline being 'Bridge 3-19 to Tulla's 1-07. There were good performances from Billy Maxwell at corner back, Johnny Hayes at midfield and Adrian Chaplin at wing forward.

All in all Mikey Corbett and his management team will be happy to be in the final but will face a stern test against St. Josephs Doora Barefield who disposed of Cratloe in a close encounter in the 'Bridge on Friday night.
