The 'Bridge Junior Bs have bucked this stereotype in 2022 by returning training in the Spring and still going in November - Following our 7th Junior B Championship win last week the boys are now back in training for the All Ireland Club Series which is being hosted by Kileedy GAA Club in County Limerick. The competition was founded in 2005 when Killeedy won the Limerick County Junior B Hurling championship, and felt it was a shame that, although an All-Ireland championship for the Junior A County champions was being established by the GAA, there was nothing for the winners of the county Junior B Championships. A few forward thinking club members put their heads together and looked into the possibility of putting something in place for the Junior B winners. Following consultation with the Munster Council and Croke Park, permission was sought and granted for the staging of this competition. This annual event has continued to grow from year to year so much so that Killeedy GAA now organise the Munster, Leinster and the Junior B All Ireland Hurling Series with up to 14 counties battling it out each year.

The format for this competition involves an open draw for the Munster and Leinster championships where Quarter finals and Semi-finals will be played on a knockout basic.

The winner of the Munster Final will then play the runner up of the Leinster Final in an All-Ireland Semi Final and the Winner of the Leinster Final will play the runner up of the Munster Final in the second All-Ireland Semi Final.
