Much sadness was occasioned in Kilmurry and the wider community last week at the death, after a short illness, of John Joe Walsh. John Joe was a very jovial, affable man and the esteem in which he was held within the community was reflected by the attendance at the removal of remains from McMahon’s Funeral Home to St. Mary’s Church, Kilmurry and for burial, following requiem mass, to the local cemetery. He is survived by his wife, sons, daughters, relatives and friends. | |
