Frances Calls It A Day

The end of the school term later this month will also bring the curtain down on the teaching career of Frances Downes who is retiring after being a member of the teaching staff at Sixmilebridge National for over twenty years. On Tuesday night, June 24 mass at 8 pm in Sixmilebridge Parish Church will celebrate Frances’ teaching life. A reception and refreshments in the GAA Hall to which everybody is invited to attend will follow this.
