Junior C Team Gets The Green Light
Wednesday, 13th June 2012
Submitted by Senior Club PRO

For the first time in a good number of years the club will field a fourth adult hurling team for 2012.  Due to the large number of hurlers in the parish it was decided to try accommodate them by entering the Junior C hurling championship. Good news arrived lately after the club were given the seal of approval at the May monthly meeting of the county board to enter the team.

This will be the first time ever that the club has entered that particular grade and preparations will begin in earnest this weekend. A number of potential players have been contacted in the last few days and anyone that has not been contacted, but who would like to play is asked to contact either PJ Fitzpatrick (0868207613) or Caimin Barrett (0866063563). Anybody in their last year of minor or older is welcome to join the panel. Training will take place this Saturday (16th June) evening at 6 pm in O'Garney Park.
