Tom (Dropshot) Keogh has been an ever present in the Bridge teams up along and has since moved into management. He had one of the best DropShots in the game and always felt it was a skill that isnt worked on enough in training.

Weight : 19 Stone (14 Stone is my Championship weight)

Occupation: Artist/Farmer

Position: Edge of the Square

Honours: U16A, U18A, Junior B championship & league, intermediate league, minor parish league.

Relations involved in GAA: my nephew Tomas and niece Aine Lynch (O’Callaghan’s Mills)

Have you ever represented your county: No, never got the call

Have you been/Are you involved in team management: Yes, junior A selector and involved with junior B winning team in 2010

Favourite Ground: O Garney Park

Greatest Hurling Achievement: got match winning goal in junior B league against Ennistymon in Lahinch in the year 2000.

Most Memorable Sporting moment outside GAA: Fulham beating Liverpool a few weeks ago, great win

Heroes: Davy Fitz, Niall Gilligan, Tom Sheehan.

Pet Hates: Cats.

Worst player you know to train: Caimin Barrett and Robert McNamara.

Toughest Opponent: Terry Kennedy (Kilmaley).

Players for the future: Tomas Lynch, Enda Quinlan, Mark Hehir, John Mulready.

Favourite Food: Calimari & Sushi.

Favourite Film: The Hangover

Any particular funny story you have from sport? Minor parish league final 95. I was on the Mountain team that beat the Village in the final. With time running out I blocked Jude Kearney’s clearance and passed the ball to Brian 'Nails' Casey who got a goal, we won by two points. Jude wasn’t happy, he chased me around the pitch

Influences on Your Career: Pat ‘Bo’ Kearney and Noel Murphy (RIP) were two great clubmen, Tom Sheehan, Jude Kearney.

Hobbies: Ladies Beech Volleyball.

Other sports played: Gyouths soccer with Bridge Utd, football with Sixmilebridge-Kilmurry.

Favourite holiday destination: Croke Park, All-Ireland Final day 1995, 96 and 97, great days

Tip for this years All-Ireland Hurling championship: Tipperary.

Advice for younger players: Practice your drop shot.

Ambitions yet to be fulfilled in life: Clare senior selector some day!.
