In a dress rehearsal for the Championship in July the 'Bridge and Clonlara went to battle in Newmarket on Sunday afternoon in the Clare Cup Semi Final.
Both sides were without a number of regulars and it was Clonlara who started the betetr running into a 1-15 to 1-05 lead at the halfway stage.
Darragh Dillon and Paul Corry were the goal scorers in the first half.
On the changeover the Bridge thundered into the game following the introduction of Jamie Shanahan and drew level heading down the home straight but a strong finish from Clonlara saw them win a place in the final against Inagh/Kilnamona.
