30 Years ago today Clare Hurling reached the holy grail ... seems like yesterday as it lives with us every day since. Well done to our boys Fitzy, Rusty, Fletcher and Holla, Dr. P Quinn and Pat Fitz who were all part of the win.
It's been almost two months since Clare beat Limerick to win their first Munster title in 63 years. Can they go one better and bring home the All-Ireland for the first time since 1914? It's been so long that that the trophy wasn't even called the Liam MacCarthy Cup then.
Path to the final
Clare 2-13 Cork 3-9
Clare 1-17 Limerick 0-11
Clare 3-12 Galway 1-13
Offaly are back in the final after their stunning late victory over Limerick last year. They have proven that wasn't a fluke by having a minimum of seven points to spare over the opposition in their three games to date.
