The clubs 6th Adult team the Toggin Out crew participated last weekend in Dublin at the annual 'Dads and Lads' tournament. Held at Abbotstown Sports complex, there was 25 teams from all over Ireland. The Bridge took on opposition from Antrim, Wexford, Dublin and Kildare. The games were competitive with the Bridge coming out on top in 4 of their 5 games.

The Toggin Out crew continue to train every Staurday morning in the Arena at 745-845 and every Tuesday and Thursday 8-9pm at the Main Field under the stewardship of Brian O'Neill who has been headng up this operation for a number of years now.

There were some notable displays on the day from the team of 14 that travelled, from Eoin Quinn using the big paw at full forward, Brian O'Neill scoring the goal of the tournament to the top corner, classy full back play from Keith Walker, some excellent attacking from Peter Kearney, Liam Buckley and Tony Brew and brilliant defending from Kerrymen Aidan O'Conor and James Scanlon, Cork man Declan Feehan and then somebreally good link play and ball carrying from Colm O'Doherty, Kevin Phelan, Michael Collins and Sam EdBrooke.

Another moment to remember occured when corner back Aidan O'Conor couldn't resist going to the next field to retrieve the Bridge sliotars, which is fine except this was in the middle of a game! Aidan ever true to his Kitman role with the club Senior team!

Well done to the lads for representing the club and continuing their fitness journeys whilst still Toggin Out!
