Today saw the third year of our Comórtas Balla Ball Competition and with over 30 boys in attendance it was another roaring success.
The day started with the O'Halloran brothers doing a demo of the rules for the boys with Luke showing his younger sibling Jack a few tricks before we got undeway.

The competition was simple - 8 courts with a group of 4 in each court with each boy playing 3 games to get a group winner. The group winners then played off in the final.

In Group 1 we had Jack Reddan, Caelan Hayes, Jack Fitzpatrick and Cillian Rafferty and reffed by Luke O'Halloran - The winner out of this group was Cillian Rafferty after a playoff.

In Group 2 we had Matthew Murphy, Blake Corbett, Noah Conneely and Aidan Kearney - reffed by Jack O'Halloran.
Matthew Murphy qualified from this group.

Group 3 included Aaron Fitzpatrick, Lorcan Benoit, Ronan Lynch and Alex Russel and was reffed by Brian Leyden with Lorcan coming out on top.

Group 4 included Matty Maxwell, Rhys Feehan, Tomás Tubridy and Sean Finnin with Tomás coming out on top with John Reddin refereeing.

Group 5 included Carter Tuohy, Fionn O'Brien, Padraig Chaplin and Harry Stafford, refereed by Mikey Russell and Carter qualified from this group.

Group 6 was reffed by Stephen Corbett and included Rhys Tuohy, Joe Madden, Finn Benedict Twomey and Liam Kearney with Rhys winning through.

Padraig Flannery oversaw the last group which included Evan Flannery, Christopher O'Grady, Donagh Murphy and Jack O'Meara.
Donagh and Evan qualified from this group from the final.

The finals produced some really exciting games ... with the results as follows:
Matthew Murphy defeated Cillian Rafferty
Lorcan Benoit defeated Tomas Tubridy
Rhys Tuohy defeated Carter Tuohy
Evan Flannery defeated Donnagh Murphy

Thanks to our Minor Winning Captain from 2025 Jack O'Halloran who was on hand to present an O'Neills voucher for the Online Club Shop for each of the 4 winners.
