Balllyea 1-17
Sixmilebridge 1-17

Venue: Ballyea
Referee: Chris Maguire (Wolfe Tones)

Having secured their first wins of the campaign in the previous round, Ballyea and Sixmilebridge shared the spoils when they clashed at Ballyea on Sunday morning.

In a game in which there was little between the sides at any stage, they went to the break locked together at 0-9 each.

Eight players shared in Sixmilebridge’s tally while ten players got on the scoresheet for the home side.

Because of injuries and inter county duties both were short the services of a lot of players that will be expected to be in their line ups later in the season.

The home side will be pleased with the fact that both Niall Deasy and Cian Kirby played for the first time this season, both returning after injury.
