While much of the country was making its way to scenic viewpoints to catch a glimpse of the solar eclipse, our U14A team was in Kilnamona for their final, or possibly penultimate, championship game. Inagh-Kilnamona proved the stronger side on the day, aided by a large panel of players. Despite Sixmilebridge missing a key player through injury, having several others unavailable, and operating with only a handful of substitutes, the girls gave a tremendous account of themselves and never lacked effort or determination. It was an enjoyable game for spectators, featuring some excellent displays of skill, agility and pace from both teams. The occasion was made all the more memorable by the backdrop of the solar eclipse, adding a unique touch to the day. Congratulations to Inagh-Kilnamona on their win and thank you to all involved
