The 2nd U10 Go Games blitz of the season took place today in sunny Newmarket on Fergus with the Bridge boys taking on teams from the host club, Doora Barefield and Clooney Quin. This was the first blitz to run in the new format with all clubs fielding two Under 9 teams and two Under 10 teams. Each team played 3 games under regular Go Games rules.

We had a great turnout from the Bridge with 37 players (of our squad of 44) attending on the day. We also had almost a full contingent of coaches which was great as its all hands on deck when trying to manage 4 teams. All our teams acquitted themselves very well and it was fantastic to see some of the things we have been concentrating on in training such as hooking, blocking and tackling on display throughout the blitz.
